This is a segment of the show where Harpo appears, called "a conversation with Harpo".  The show stars Jack Benny, Bing Crosby, Harpo, and Gary Cooper, among others.  Pay attention, you hear Harpo make a "groaning" noise in this one.

"In my mind I saw them as thousands of Billies (his son) -- not as the men they were but as the kids they had been just ten or fifteen years ago, hoping that Daddy would keep on playing and making funny faces and bedtime would never come.  I couldn't help thinking that when bedtime finally came for some of these kids it would be a nightmare followed by an eternity's sleep." - Harpo  (Page 416, "Harpo Speaks")

May 9, 1946 - The Burns and Allen Show (Complete episode!)
Harpo is asked to become a spy reporter for a newspaper!  It's absolute magic, since George Burns and Harpo were actually very good friends and golfing buddies.  Includes a slower version of one of the jokes from our "Mail Call" clip, with a different harp solo, and ends with the knife dropping routine.
